Building Resilience

Resilience is a key element of positive mental well-being. How do practitioners/teachers help children and young people to develop resilience within their practice.

Resilience is about understanding that we can not prevent adversity and daily stress but we can change how we think about the challenges we face.

Learning Aims -:

  1. Understanding what resilience is and why it is important for children and young people to develop this tool.
  2. The strategies to use to help develop resilience in children and young people.
  3. Practitioners/teachers confidently know how to implement the development of resilience into everyday activities.
