Welcome and thank you for joining the STEP Outdoors project.
The project aims to enhance the learning and teaching of students by understanding the benefits that outside learning opportunities provide schools and children.
Working alongside Teach Outdoors Ltd, we aim to design and pilot a blended training course for you, as a student working with school-age children.
We want to provide education students at Northampton University an opportunity to explore how an outdoor environment can be utilised to support child development and used as an active learning tool.
The training will provide you with skills to support your future role as teachers, mentors and other occupations working with children.
You can use this space to communicate with other students taking part by asking questions or sharing ideas.
