FREE taster of The KC Classroom – an online enrichment experience for 9 – 14 year olds which can be delivered in the classroom or at home.
Its core stimulus is the health and wellbeing curriculum delivered via STEM subjects science and engineering, together with entrepreneurship, digital and creativity.
The following video gives you a quick overview of the platform and programme which we’re offering to schools completely free of charge for the summer term so you can find out more and see if it’s right for your school and your students.
Until July 31st we’ll give you 5 unique licences so you can use our programme and access this term’s mission – Eat to Save the Planet – which explores real world projects within the food industry. We’re all responsible for the world we live in so find out what challenges lie ahead and what YOU can do to make sure what’s on your plate is good for you, and good for the planet!
Learners can journey through this mission by participating in weekly broadcasts with role models, businesses and innovators and choose from 18 different challenges to complete as scientists, engineers, leaders, entrepreneurs, creatives and digital makers.
- Use our on-demand creative curriculum to bring the real world to your students;
- Each 6 week scheme of work requires limited planning or prep;
- Use The KC Classroom in careers programmes to widen aspirations and help meet Gatsby benchmarks 2, 4 and 7;
- Get stuck into our project based challenges and help your students build a portfolio of future ready skills, projects and experiences;
- Everything on the platform is tracked so you can measure student participation, engagement and achievements.
- Perfect package for schools with long term absences, short term exclusions or hard to reach kids.
To access this course we’ll need to take you through our onboarding process and set up your school account which means we’ll need your contact details so we can send you an invite to the platform and you can log in with your user ID and password.
