We have been working together for years when we dreamed together about our English teaching practice. The essence of our method is to use tales written and translated by ourselves, with flashcards attached to the tales and help language learning with motion and board games. These techniques also help to refine emotional, moral competencies, and to develop proper self-esteem. Toddlers are most easily influenced by the power of tales and play together. That’s why we created our series of environmental tales, which showcases ecological problems and the importance of nature conservation through the adventures of a little polar bear. Here we have to say that in our series of environmental tales, otherness, equality, open communication and helping each other also play an important role. We have edited our stories in such a way that they become suitable for the simultaneous learning of two languages, as well as for the enrichment of the Hungarian vocabulary and the development of speech comprehension. We believe this is a unique way to shape children’s vision and provide points of connection with each other and the world. Storytelling, shared play and experiences are an integral part of our daily lives.
