The Food Academy – Grant Funding to support your early years business

Exciting News!! For those childminders and nurseries who are within Leicester and/or Leicestershire and meet the grant criteria you may be eligible to access our support package and the purchase of the Thermomix as a capital investment for your business.

If you don’t know what a Thermomix is please take a look at our video below. This device will change your life and your business. We can show you in person via a Thermomix demo just how amazing this is, or we can arrange a virtual demonstration.

The Grant application form is attached in the lesson below along with some guidance documents we have prepared for you, here’s a brief overview: –

This is a one-off grant of £2,500 for eligible businesses.  No match funding is required however, LLEP will be more supportive of applications where the business is contributing to overall costs.  You must have been trading for at least 6 months and be a limited company, limited liability partnership, partnership, sole trader, franchise or social enterprise. You must have a business bank account.

We have provided a grant application guidance document to help you with this form – please pick either the childminder support document or the nursery support document to find text that will help you complete the most appropriate grant application for your business.

Whichever option you choose for your grant application you will need to include quotes in your application, please contact us individually to get these.
